This Virus is Viral

It's good to talk about this virus and how it's affecting you (and everyone). It's not good to celebrate the virus.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is now every day, and matters to us all.

We’re writing this Dispatch to you with mixed feelings: celebration & trepidation. What would you think of us if we didn't have competing feelings vying for our affection? It's been good to remember how wonderful it is that just over half the world's population are women. That was yesterday.

At the same time, isn't it sensible to be fearful of the misery the virus has caused, and has yet to cause?

Our Best Advice

V iew adversity as an opportunity to stand out from the crowd

I nsist on celebrating heroic deeds that raise morale

R ise to the crisis in a style that people will admire

U nless you're forced to give up, hang in there ('this too shall pass')

S timulate demand for genuinely attractive communication (no misleading double-dealing)

You know, just as well as I do, that we're in a crisis. We're doing business at a time that's full of danger. You might even say

"Never has genuinely attractive communication been so attractive and unusual."

"Now's the time to express what you really feel"

(Work by others that we think is fabulously attractive)

Our [GAB*] Tip:

Say you're sorry so it shows what matters to you

The KFC Way

Why did the chickens cross the road?

To escape from Colonel Sanders.

Why did Colonel Sanders chase chickens?

To feed the family supper.

Why did the family suffer?

'Cause chickens were lost on the road

And weren't seen 'til the Colonel cried
