When Small Is Big

Our work has been a load of cobblers lately.

You know how the cobbler's children go unshod? We've been cobblers like that in recent weeks. So wrapped up in helping others with their increased need for online communication that we've barely been able to tend to our own.

We're seeing a yearning for two things above all:

  1. Effective and purpose-rich (information) gatherings online

  2. (More) online sales

(If these are your desires too, we can help.)

So we took a big decision this week.

We'd send out a small dispatch, rather than nothing. A flicker is better than complete darkness. A faint crackle better than radio silence.

The format is different, the people are the same. We're still here to serve you.

*Genuinely Attractive Business

Show & Tell Humour

We slipped this into a client's newsletter this week. (It helps if you are familiar with the Schrödinger's Cat—a thought experiment in which a cat is both dead and alive at the same time.)

Though Austrian by birth, Schrödinger lived in Ireland for a long time and became a naturalised Irish citizen, while retaining his Austrian citizenship. Immigration officers never knew which passport he held in his hand until they saw it. Quite literally, it was Schrödinger's passport.

Podcasting Is Ambiguous

Wherever I go, I find people who love podcasts and people who don’t.

Podcasts appeal to people who like to listen to what you have to say.

In the latest episode of Business Jazz, Paul and Roger celebrate how you should sleep your way through disaster:

Our podcast ("Business Jazz") is one of the world's most divisive podcasts. We hope it sounds like a genuinely attractive business to you.

Abnormal Service Will Be Resumed...

Things will go back to normal. They always do—but the understanding of normal may have changed. Your country may have become a fledgling republic, for instance, just like Rip's.

Some of the best business advice we've heard is this:

"Work towards what people will need in three months' time, when this is over."

Is there anything we can do to help you do that? (Maybe you'll need someone to help tell your new or updated story?) Paul is available on Zoom with an eager ear and free insight and suggestions. Just hit reply to this email.

Have a [GAB] week,

Anne, Paul, and Roger
